Double Portion Coffee Co. was not built from an idea, it was born out of obedience. The foundation of this brand is rooted in Isaiah 61:7, the promise that instead of shame there will be a double portion. That scripture is not just something we reference, it is something we stand on. It speaks to restoration, dignity, and the heart of God to redeem what has been lacking.
When I traveled to Uganda for the first time, I saw that lack up close. I saw women without access to basic feminine hygiene products, something so simple, yet so deeply tied to dignity. It shifted something in me because it was no longer distant or abstract, it was real, and I could not ignore it. In that place, I prayed, and the direction the Lord gave me was clear. Grace and Garments was the assignment, to restore dignity, to meet a real and practical need, and to serve women in a way that reflects the heart of God.
From there, He began to show me how to build something that could sustain that mission. Double Portion Coffee Co. is the expression of that instruction. It is not separate from the mission, it is directly connected to it. This business was created to be a vessel, where something as simple as a daily cup of coffee becomes a way to participate in something greater. Every purchase supports the work of Grace and Garments, allowing dignity to be restored to women and communities in need.
